Project Features: MacDougall-Walker is the largest correctional facility in New England. It is a level 4/5, high/maximum security penitentiary spanning 140 acres and capable of housing over 2,100 inmates at full capacity. The institution is a multi-mission facility which offers a highly structured environment and various educational programs for the benefit of its inmates and their development. These programs include academic, vocational, social/family, and addiction services, among others. MacDougall-Walker is accredited by the American Correctional Association, receiving an institution score of 100% on both mandatory and non-mandatory factors.

Challenges Faced: Work was completed on a very tight timeframe given the magnitude of the project.

Ducci Scope of Work: Installed all lighting, power, and various other systems including an extensive and complex security system.

Project Features: Garner is a level 4, high security correctional institution for adult males. It consists of 2 buildings and spans 118 acres. The 245,000 sq. ft. main building houses all inmates (approximately 800 at full capacity) and all support service operations. This focus at this facility is meeting the mental health needs of (and devising individualized treatment plans for) their inmates. The primary goal is to rehabilitate and successfully integrate as many offenders as possible back into society.
